Finleys First Easter

I love reading my new book

Time has gone so fast since we have arrived in Houston.  Our big news is that we purchased a home for Finley to grow up in.  Our new home has a swimming pool and a beautiful backyard with lots of room to grow and to play.  We will move in the middle of May, for now we are all living in a tiny apartment in the Gallaria, Todd thinks that the apartment is too small, I think it just reminds me of our time in NY.

Finley spends her days growing and exploring.  Right now she loves her exersaucer, she will entertain herself for about thirty minutes, which is wonderful for everyone.  She has started developing her fine motor skills, she loves to touch ribbon and string.  She is also becoming quite talented with blowing bubbles and making raspberry sounds.  She loves to smile and to be part of the party.  She is also very aware of who mom and dad are, we haven’t entered the phase of stranger danger, but I feel as if it is right around the corner.

With Dad at work all day Finley and I have been working on keeping ourselves busy.  Last week we purchased a baby jogger so we both enjoy going for a morning run around Memorial Park.  I have a feeling we are going to log a lot of miles together in the years to come.

I love purple carrots
We are very excited for Finley’s first Easter tomorrow.  We have joined a wonderful church and will spend Easter going to service and then going over to play with our good friends the Cox Family.  Holidays are just so much more fun with a baby girl to share them with, we are very blessed.
